Bill Main
Bill Main began his aviation career in the Air Force during the Korean conflict in 1952. After leaving the Air Force, he established a flight school and FBO. Soon after, he contracted with the U.S. Forest Service to fight fires. His aviation career took a new direction when he partnered with Sheriff’s Departments in 55 counties across California to transport prisoners. Having operated that Part 135 air taxi service for 20 years and personally owned 56 aircraft throughout his life, he brought invaluable insight and experience to the aviation industry.

Gary Main
Gary Main was born into the aviation business and started working at the family FBO after school and on weekends helping in the shop. After obtaining his pilots license in 1976 and his instrument, single and multi engine ratings, he received his A & P license in 1979. Since then he has had extensive aircraft maintenance experience. He has attended King Air Factory Schools and has had extensive engine overhaul and airframe repair experience. Since 1988 he has specialized in turbocharger systems troubleshooting, repair and overhaul.

Sean Main
Sean Main’s journey in aviation began at an early age, sweeping the shop floors at just 11 years old. What started as a summer job to fund his sports ambitions quickly grew into a deep passion for aviation, fueled by lunches with his father and grandfather and hands-on experience with turbocharger systems. By the age of 14, Sean was already mastering technical tasks, from reworking wastegate valve housings on an industrial lathe to working in the glass bead cabinet—where he had to stand on a box to reach. Now in his 30s, Sean brings decades of experience to Main Turbo. Alongside his father, Gary, he enjoys working with our experienced technicians in new and innovative ways to ensure the best quality for our customers. His commitment to advancing the field while honoring the family legacy ensures Main Turbo remains a trusted leader in aviation turbocharger solutions.
